Torrential thundery showers in much of central Europe, better to the south and north

A drier bright day for Portugal but occasional showers in north. Sunny for most Spain but showers in north. Showers for France, more frequent in the afternoon. Showers over England in the afternoon, otherwise mostly dry and bright for the British Isles. Some showers for the Low Countries. Denmark will see another sunny day. Northern parts of Norway and Sweden will see rain, elsewhere dry and sunny. Showers for Germany, drier brighter for Poland. Finland, the Baltic States, Belarus and Ukraine will be sunny.
Afternoon showers for Switzerland, drier brighter over Austria. A few showers in the afternoon over Czechia, Slovakia and Hungary. Romania will see isolated showers. Most of the Balkans will see sunny conditions.
Rather cloudy and hazy for the Balearics, Corsica and Sardinia. North Italy bright with a few showers, southern part hazy and rather cloudy with some showers. Mostly cloudy and hazy for Greece, Turkiye and Cyprus, with a few showers mostly over the mountains.

Thundery showers in northern and eastern Spain today. Fair to the south with sunny spells. Scattered showers in the Balearics. Heavy and thundery showers forming over Italy. Greece will have a few showers in the north but fine to the south. Lots of sunshine and staying very warm in Turkey.
Frequent, heavy and widespread thundery showers affecting France. The Low Countries and Germany will also see heavy, thundery showers forming. Further thundery showers for Poland, some of them heavy. More scattered showers for Hungary and Austria. Showers affecting Switzerland with sunny spells.
Showers in Denmark, mostly the south. Scattered showers in the Baltic States, some sunshine too. Finland will be bright and dry with sunny spells. Isolated showers in southern Sweden but fine for other areas. Rain in northern Norway with fine weather to the south.
